Kara Smarsh is an emerging graphic designer from the shores of Lake Erie, currently residing in Ohio's capital city. Photoshop and web design began as childhood hobbies and from there her passions for web design, typographic experimentation, illustration, and the art of effective articulation evolved.

 

While obtaining her BFA in Graphic Design, Kara also completed a BS in Biology, as well as internships with two design firms in Columbus, Ohio — the first with web and mobile design agency Shift Global and the second with Bonfire Red, where she worked on brand strategy, print, and digital design for a variety of clients.

 

In her free time, you can find her photographing musicians for The Now Sound or working on another side-project. Kara is available for freelance work in design and photography.
